We recommend your own car so you can move around more easily during your stay. Car hire is available at the airports in Pisa (78 km) or Genoa (110 km). If you arrive by train, you can hire a car in La Spezia. Even though the best way to visit the Cinque Terre is by train, visits to many other places in the area will be easier by car.
